Scandal Moves Back to Empire

Seems like there are a lot of rogue squad members returning to their former teams. This Spring Shuffle has already seen Aui_2000 and Bulba return to Evil Geniuses from Digital Chao. EG was obviously happy to have their squad members returned. This time, Scandal has finally decided to return to his old team, Empire.

After two years, Scandal’s scandal with his own CEO of Empire, was solved and he decided to return to them. Two days back, Team Empire had chosen to release their entire squad and start fresh into the new season. They did this with Afterlife taking the role of captain and Scandal making a long awaited comeback to the team.

Scandal started his professional gaming career with Team Empire, and they did pretty well initially. During his time at Empire, Scandal got into communication problems with the CEO of Empire, Aleksandr ‘StrangeR’ Solomonov. As such, he decided to leave the squad altogether. Resolut1on had to step in to fill the empty mid lane position as well as the captain role. With Afterlife captaining the squad, Scandal should not have problems, if he wishes to stay in his old team.

Two years after Resolut1on steps in, he figures he wants to take a risk with his own North American venture and Scandal takes the opportunity to fill the spot. Not as captain though.

To fill up the rest of the spots, Empire grabbed a few here and a few there. Roman ‘RAMZES666’ Kushnarev had a pretty rough time in the Shanghai Major, and lost his keyboard twice. Team Empire picked him up while he was upset with his current team, Team Spirit. Afterlife is also stepping out of Team Spirit to join Empire.

The new Empire includes Roman ‘RAMZES666’ Kushnarev, Roman ‘Scandal’ Sadotenkov, Vasily ‘Afterlife’ Shishkin, Yaroslav ‘Miposhka’ Naidenov, and Rinat ‘KingR’ Abdullin.

Let’s wait and see what Team Empire can make of their new squad, and whether or not Scandal can make a difference from his return.
