G2.Kinguin is back with a bang on the Counter Strike Global Offensive eSports scene. The company recently sold its entire roster for its clan recently to FaZe Clan and now it looks like that the team is back with a bang. The news comes in just two weeks after the sell off and according to the official announcement, the team is back with the former Titan roster. The roster is said to be one of the best ones around in the world today and this one was an obvious pick after the recent fold of Titan.
The team is going to be in action for the first time under the new organization at the upcoming Global eSports Cup, where G2.Kinguin is going to go up against Astralis, Cloud9 and Method in their pool Group B.
G2’s Chief Gaming Officer, Jakub “lothar” Szygulski said in a statement that they have been working on for several years in order to promote a positive development in the world of Counter Strike. He added that under this mission, they have brought on the former Titan squad under the G2 banner and that they are also happy to welcome their former player, Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom under the banner and that they are going to continue on building his legacy in the world of eSports.
Jérôme “NiaK” Sudries, who was hired as the coach for the squad had this to say:
“We are both proud and happy to announce that we are joining G2. This club has experienced an awesome development in recent months, owed mainly to the hard work of a competent management team led by Carlos. The players and I are driven by the will to build long-term relationships with the people we work with, and in that respect G2 was the best choice. After Team VeryGames and Titan, this is the beginning of a new chapter for us, and our main goal is to get back to the top of the CS:GO rankings, of which we have been out for far too long”
As of right now, the roster for G2.Kinguin’s team for the Counter Strike Global Offensive scene is as follows:
Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans
Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom
Cédric “RpK” Guipouy
Richard “shox” Papillon
Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux
